This week's new key point is "People make media and then media make people." People make up the media by some data, and media make people. 'media make people' means that people need to help for media in the recognition. It likes people and name 's connection. when we recognize the man, we need his name.
WWW can express three point. One is a collaboratively authored hypertext. Next is a standard. third, it is a vast. WWW is huge, big and wide thing. www is heterogeneous network of people and machines.
We learned ISO, IETF and RFC. ISO is international standards organization. It acts as a bridge between public and private sector. IETF is internet engineering task force. and RFC is request for comments. that is very good system. It can listen a suggestion.
Also we learn URL and HTML. URL is universal resource locator. It contain protocol(http, ftp, mailto), scheme(server, directory, file after), urn( in a specific name, a speciric resource). HTML is hypertext markup language. It is derived from sgml.
Last Dr.Yoon introduced "Nam Jun Paik'. I think his work of art's special feature is participation. In 1960s, he invent several special things. that would not think another people in those days. His art exist as art, technology, and some different form. I am impressed him.
This time is so difficult to understand text and the words. but I try to understand. When appear unknown word, I skip and read the rest. so I comprehend on the whole.
