Begining the class Dr.Yoon says we something that This weeks is last class this semester.
This semester's last class subject is Open Source.
At first We learned resistance. resistance are tactics and means to oppose the strategies of “The Prince” Prince means Microsoft,Google,Naver etc.
While the prince tries to “divide and conquer,” the resistance tries to overcome the imposed isolation.
Nowadays, few people have strong capital and high technology. they have a decision many people. for example, strategies of “The Prince". Resist for this, many things
Examples of “electronic disturbance" are virus, trojan horse, worm, bomb, back door.
Virus is a cracker program that searches out other programs and `infects' them by embedding a copy of itself in them.
Trojan horse is a program designed to break security or damage a system that is disguised as something else benign
Worm is a program that propagates itself over a network, reproducing itself as it goes.
Bomb is a code surreptitiously inserted in an application or OS that causes it to perform some destructive or security-compromising activity whenever specified conditions are met. back door is a hole in the security of a system deliberately left in place by designers or maintainers.
Open-source is fun. Fun factoryusers are develoopers or designers of the programs, also. When I was in high-school, I used a PMP. Some functions and visual designs of it are open-source. Thus I did download many funny skin for my PMP. In that time, I was so fun. Thus I think "Open-source" gives some funny, enjoying, happieness to users. As a result of users can use some products during long times, interestinglly. Then, I could know many concepts of virus, troy horse, bomb, backdoor, worm in this class. Maybe, I will study them easyily, when I learn to subjects realated to networks.
